Shaved Steak Pretzel Rolls
Ingredients:
4 oz banana peppers
1 shallot
3 tbsps white wine vinegar
1 lb shaved steak
4 Provolone Slices
4 pretzel buns
Serving size: 4 sandwiches.
Directions:
1. Preheat oven at 425 degrees. Roughly chop up jalapeno/banana peppers. Peel skin off shallot, cut in half, slice halves into thin strips. Combine banana peppers, shallot, and 3 tbsps white wine vinegar in a bowl and microwave on high, 30 seconds.
2. Put pan on stove and wait until hot. Add shaved steak and stir occasionally until no pink remains. Stir in beef base and 2 tbsp of water. Cook until the sauce is slightly reduced.
3. Place tops and bottoms of buns on baking sheet. Top bottom of buns with shaved steak and provolone cheese. Bake in oven until cheese is melted.
4. Top sandwiches with prepared homemade relish. Enjoy!
